protection, security & quality management policy
It is the policy
of the Company that all employees in every function execute their work
under safe and healthy conditions and with proper concern for protecting
the environment.
The top management expects every employee, supervisor, manager and
director to comply with the strict Standards and Instructions issued by the
Company, in addition to the mandatory requirements already regulating the
industry.

At all levels in the organization, management is responsible for
ensuring that the policy is understood, implemented and maintained.
Ultimate responsibility remains with the top management.
The Company aims to eliminate possible dangers which may result in
personal injury, professional illness, accidents, damage to property, environment
and damage caused by fraudulent action. The recognition of possible dangers
must become a way of life.
Our safety efforts must be aimed at prevention of errors, manage
hazardous situations and incidents. Should these occur, every employee is
required to participate in determining and eliminating possible causes, in
order to prevent reoccurrence in the future. Continuous improvement is our
aim, striving towards a level of zero incidents and zero spills to sea.
Commercial considerations come secondary to safety at all times.
To achieve these goals the Safety and Quality Management System has
been developed and implemented. Based on complaints, non-conformities,
incidents and internal audits is the System reviewed on a yearly basis
during the Management Review to verify its continuing effectiveness.
The Company
gives priority to Safety, Health, Environmental, Security and Quality
Management. It stresses the standards can only be met with the total
commitment of every individual within the organization.
